Kathy Sykes – Director of Sales
Kathy is a veteran of the hospitality industry for over three decades. She began her career in the restaurants during which time Kathy was given an opportunity to join the management team. Kathy cross trained in the hotel sales business twenty years ago in the Washington DC area. Her dedication to her job, her sales team and guest relations earned her several service awards and promotion up the ladder to Director of Sales. Moving within the state of Virginia, Kathy held positions as a travel agent, conference service director along with guest relations director. Prior to her move here to the Mississippi Gulf Coast, she enjoyed working at the Director of Sales & Marketing for two golf courses in the Fredericksburg, Virginia region. Kathy is a great point of contact here at the Courtyard Marriott Gulfport Beachfront. She handles corporate, association, and government travelers looking to stay here at the hotel or planning to hold meetings in our Coastal Ballroom. She is willing, ready and experienced to help with any of your hotel needs.Kathy's strengths include her determination, great organizational skills and her straight forward friendliness, which has forged great relationships with business contacts, government contacts, members of the community and her co-workers. Kathy enjoys playing golf, spending time with family & friends, and traveling.

Crystal Dockery – Sales Coordinator
Crystal is no stranger to the Courtyard Marriott Gulfport Beachfront. She became part of the family prior to the grand opening in May 2008. Crystal was an asset as a guest service agent and excelled to the position as Front Desk Supervisor. In September 2009, she was promoted to Sales Coordinator. Crystal provides outstanding guest services to those looking to have the hotel host a wedding, family reunion, military reunion, sporting event, and other special functions. Crystal loves sports and has worked diligently to increase our golf packaging business through the Mississippi Golf Association here along the Mississippi Gulf Coast region. All of us here at the hotel are very proud of her accomplishments since joining our sales team.Crystal's dad being a retired serviceman in the military has given her a fortunate opportunity to travel and live in many places across the United States and Europe. Before moving here to Gulfport, she lived in the Atlanta area. She is a graduate of Marian University. Crystal loves being a mother to her three children, Christian, Taylor and CJ. In her spare time she enjoys cheering on her favorite sports team and reading.

Becky Taylor – Catering Director
Becky has over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry. Thirteen years were served in the local food and beverage market, eight years at the Holiday Inn Hotels in Biloxi, and the last four years here at the Courtyard Marriott Gulfport Beachfront. Having been given the opportunity to experience several positions within the industry, Becky has truly found her passion in the event planning and catering management. Her attention to detail, guest services, dedicated worker, has been a great help to the Sales Department team. Born and raised in the Biloxi-Gulfport area, has proven to be a positive asset when coming to organizing events and assisting in making each and every function a memorable one for our guests in our Coastal Ballroom. No task is too big or too small for Becky – she is up for the challenge.Becky currently resides in the rural community of Latimer, just north of the Coast with her daughter Trilby and their two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and attending her daughters cheerleading and softball events.

Audrey Watson Duncan
I was born and reared in the great city of Natchez, MS. I later left to pursue my career in the field of food service and hospitality industry. I began working for various companies in this industry. The height of my career came when I found a great love for cooking and customer service. I worked several years in New Orleans, LA. for the Sheraton hotel where I obtained a great deal of knowledge. I later moved to Jackson, MS. continuing to do what I loved to do, working for Country clubs, hospitals, and schools.
Life, then took new direction to the MS. Gulf Coast, where I did years of work with Garden Park Medical Ctr. as a Diet Clerk. in Gulfport, Ms. Within only three years of exhibiting exceptional leadership ability and work ethics, I was voted employee of the year, and promoted to Food Production Manager. I then received the "Thomas F. Frist" award.
It was truly an honor. This accolade only further solidified my ability to direct complex projects from concept to fully operational status. I then, was fortunate enough to bring my capabilities to the jewel of the Miss. Gulf Coast. 'THE COURTYARD MARRIOTT of Gulfport, where it gives me great pleasure to receive "smiles" and "thank yous" from those I devote my life to serving.
